22 Our New Bodies

God met with the Israelites in the ancient Tabernacle where abode with them. When we receive the Gospel, He abides with us as the Holy Spirit in these earthly bodies Paul calls our earthly house of this tabernacle. We now live in the earthly human body but we will be receiving one that will never show signs of weakness or decay.

Philippians 3:20-21

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself (KJV).

Here we learn that our bodies will change to a heavenly body which is what the Lord Jesus received after He rose from the dead. This is one of the ways that we become like Him. This will happen to us at the Rapture and Resurrection of the Church.
