Thousands of years ago, the Muslims weren’t even around to claim they have the rights to Jerusalem. The proof is clear – biblical, historical, political – Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish People.
G-d gave Jerusalem to the Jewish People.
King David conquered Jerusalem.
And in recent times, the Jewish people reconquered Jerusalem in the 6 day war.
So what “rights” do the Muslims have to Jerusalem? It has belonged to the Jewish People for thousands of years. Jews have never stopped praying toward, thinking about, and talking about Jerusalem.
