8 Differences in the Rapture and the Second Coming

Here is a sectioned comparison that offers further clarification between these 2 events that will be fulfilled at least seven years apart from one another.
* Notice that all the left-column – rapture verses (minus the very last one that deals with ALL peoples who eventually are resurrected), are from the teachings of Christ specifically to the church!
Whereas, all of the right-column – 2nd coming verses are both either from the O.T. or personal N.T. teachings from Christ Himself directly to the Jews.

Christ certainly wouldn’t have been teaching them truths that weren’t for them. Nor would He have been revealing truths that were still, in God’s plan, hidden.
For it was after Christ’s ascension and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit and through Paul’s epistles that God finally revealed mysteries of the new, grace-based covenant. Had He done so earlier and to a people under the old, law-based covenant, they would have been utterly confused.

This current Church-age of grace will end at the very moment of our departure and resurrection.
The very age His disciples asked about was the end of the age they were currently in – that of the law, which was put on hold until the ‘time of the Gentiles’ is complete. (The spreading of the gospel of Christ via the churchbody.)

Daniel’s 70 weeks timeline (a week = 7 years) makes it clear that Israel has completed 69 weeks as Jesus rode into Jerusalem, with one to come – that will be the final week (7 yrs) aka: the time of Jacob’s (Israel’s) Trouble – the Tribulation period. Also coinciding with the ‘Day of the Lord’s judgment upon the earth.
This means that there are 7 years left, back under the law, before Christ returns to the earth with His newly-wedded bride by His side to set up His kingdom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ verses of reference ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BEHOLD, I SHOW YOU ‘A MYSTERY’; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
~ 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of THIS MYSTERY, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
~ Romans 11:25
Luke 21:24
They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Daniel 9:24-27
“Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people (Jews) and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One (Jesus the Christ) will be put to death and will have nothing.
The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.
He (the A/C) will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ (seven years) In the middle of the ‘seven’ (42 months) he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”
Ezekiel 30:3
For the DAY OF THE LORD is near;
it will be a day of clouds,
A TIME OF DOOM FOR THE NATIONS.
