At least eight rockets fired, of which two exploded in the city. Hezbollah: A response to Israel’s continued aggression.

Sirens were sounded shortly after midnight on Wednesday night in Kiryat Shmona and the nearby area.
At least eight rockets were fired from Lebanon. The city of Kiryat Shmona said that one rocket hit a building in the city and another fell near residential homes. There were no injuries, but homes and vehicles were damaged.
The Israel Police said that they are dealing with a number of areas in which rocket fragments fell in the vicinity of Kiryat Shmona.
“Police officers and police sappers are now isolating the scenes and searching for additional remains, in order to remove further risk to the public,” the police said.
The Hezbollah terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the rocket fire and said that “it is a response to Israel’s continued damage to the villages and homes of the civilians.”
Hezbollah added that they will not allow harm to civilians and will not allow the Lebanese villages and towns to be turned into no man’s land.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, IDF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah operational command center in Lebanon.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that following the sirens that sounded in the Golan Heights, four launches from Syria that crossed into Israel were identified.
The IDF struck the sources of the fire and a military post belonging to the Syrian army.
“Furthermore, IDF soldiers identified a number of terrorists approaching the security fence from Lebanon along the border in the area of Metula. IDF soldiers fired toward them, hits were identified,” the statement said.
On Tuesday, two IDF soldiers in reserves were moderately injured as a result of fire toward an IDF post in the area of Malkia in northern Israel.
The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been notified.
