The Palestinian Authority is disappointed that despite the Biden administration’s commitment to open its consulate with the PA in Jerusalem, this opening remains delayed, similar to the PLO offices in Washington, which remain closed, Israel Hayom reported.
According to the report, the US administration has asked the PA to carry out reforms in several areas, including regarding the payments of salaries to Palestinian Arab convicts and their families. It was also reported that the Palestinian Arabs consider this an ‘Israeli maneuver’ and say that the American position on this matter was influenced by Israel. As a result, the PA has expressed great anger at the Biden administration.
