United States President Joe Biden on Friday said he was making a priority of urgently addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, adding he was committed to returning the Americans who had been taken hostage.
“Our teams are working in the region – including communicating directly with the governments of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and other Arab nations and the United Nations – to surge support,” Biden told reporters during the tour of a shipping terminal in Philadelphia.
