Eyewitnesses suggest it may have been a rocket attack that sent plumes of black smoke billowing into the air
A loud blast rocked Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Sunday afternoon, as another likely terrorist attack materialized as the backdrop to an increasingly chaotic withdrawal of United States troops.
A security official from the recently deposed government said it was a rocket that “initial information shows hit a house,” reported AFP.
This latest attack comes a few days after a suicide atrocity against the airport that killed more than 100 Afghans, as well as 13 US service personnel.
This is a developing story.
