The cabinet instructed the IDF to increase IAF strikes in the Gaza Strip and deploy further troops in the south of the country, Kan reported on Sunday.
The cabinet meeting is still ongoing and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu and the ministers are discussing Israel’s response to roughly 500 Hamas rockets launched on Israel in the last 24 hours.
