The Assad regime has denied a visa to the head of the Organization for the Prohibition of Weapons (OPCW) team that seeks to identify the perpetrators of the most recent chemical attacks in Syria. The Syrian Dep. FM replied to the OPCW request by stating that Damascus does not recognize the organization’s new investigation and identification team. The OPCW wrote back offering to hold discussions at The Hague instead of Damascus.
