Egypt has convinced Israel to start producing gas in a field off the coast of the Gaza Strip in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority, reports the London-based Al-Sharq Al-Awast newspaper.
This is a gas field that was discovered 22 years ago but so far has not been developed due to disagreements between the parties.
