Egypt demands Hamas reconcile with other Palestinian factions

Egypt demanded Hamas to cooperate with the other Palestinian factions following the beginning of talks between it and Fatah, and to refrain from any escalation in violence within the Gaza Strip, Al-Arabiya reported Monday. According to the report, Cairo also requested from Israel to stop retaliatory strikes within the enclave.Egypt also reportedly mulled the reopening of the Rafah border crossing and that it achieved an initial deal to reconcile the Palestinian factions, working on a summit set to be attended by all the organizations.
