The Egyptian security delegation led by Major General Ahmed Abdel Khalek is expected to visit the Gaza Strip and meet with Palestinian officials on Monday after touring the Gaza-Egypt border, according to Al Mayadeen.
Tensions have been high between Israel and the Gaza Strip in recent weeks as dozens of explosive balloons and over 20 rockets have been launched from Gaza into Israel.
