EU states: Natanz attack intended to disrupt nuclear talks

Signatories to the Iran Nuclear Deal of 2015 said the recent attack on Iran’s nuclear power plant in Natanz, attributed to Israel, was meant to disrupt negotiations for a return to the deal taking place in Vienna.

Officials said the attack could also have the opposite effect, leading to the U.S. administration feeling “guilty” towards the Islamic Republic and returning to the deal.
