The Israeli Air Force struck Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in southern Lebanon overnight Monday, where terrorists were also present.

Earlier, the IDF issued an evacuation warning to residents of the village of Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.

“Following the blatant violation of the ceasefire, after Hezbollah launched a UAV toward IDF troops, we are forced to respond,” the IDF stated. “Civilians in the area must evacuate immediately.”

In a statement published by the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Lt. Col. Ella Waweya, the military said that an explosive drone had been launched toward IDF troops and that, following the violation, “the IDF is forced to act with force.”

The warning was directed at those located in a building marked in red on an accompanying map, as well as in nearby buildings: “You are located near a Hezbollah facility against which the IDF is about to operate.”

Residents were instructed to evacuate the buildings immediately and remain at least 300 meters away. The IDF warned that remaining in the area “endangers your lives.”

The incident follows multiple earlier incidents last week, in which Hezbollah terrorists launched explosive drones toward IDF troops.

In response, the Israeli Air Force struck weapons storage facilities intended to be used by Hezbollah terrorists to plan and direct terror attacks against IDF troops in the security zone.
