The IDF Chief of Staff General Aviv Kochavi visited the city of Bethlehem in the company of several high ranking officers who presently serve as commanders of forces in Judea and Sumaria.
“We have no intention of allowing terror to succeed. The directive is very clear to every fighting force: to thwart and prevent all terrorist activity. When I say terror, I include rocks, Molotov cocktails, and exploding balloons. All of these are terror,” Kochavi said.
“The message is sharp and clear. We will not allow any sort of attack, any exploding balloon, or roadside shooting. No such terrorist acts will succeed. The IDF has focused on the Palestinian areas during the last weeks and we will deliver a sharp and clear response to any terrorist activity,” the Chief of Staff emphasized.
