What heights of love, what depths of peace,
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
when fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
Psalm 46:10 “Cease striving and know that I am God ; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Fulness of God in helpless babe!

Scorned by the ones he came to save:

Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied –
Hebrews 7:26-27 For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens; who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain:
Jesus says in John 9:5 “While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.”
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave he rose again!
Matthew 28:5,6 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid ; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. “He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me,
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 “O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
