Texas Governor Greg Abbott told the Domestic Terrorism Task Force that a huge volume of cyber attacks had been carried out by “Iran-based entities”
Iran has attempted up to 10,000 cyber attacks per MINUTE in the last 48 hours, US intelligence chiefs have revealed.
The huge volume of attacks come as the two nations teeter on the verge of war following the assassination of top general Qassam Soleimani.
In the early hours of this morning Iranian missiles targeted two US bases in Iraq, claiming 80 personnel had been killed.
However, Nato is said to have confirmed there were no casualties.

He said, ABC reports : “These attacks from Iran-based entities, as well as other entities across the globe, are going to continue.
“I think it’s very important that everyone be particularly vigilant right now about what may happen out of Iran.”
Last week US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Iran is capable of carrying out attacks.
He told Fox News: “The Iranians have a deep and complex cyber capability, to be sure.

Iran launched missile attacks on two US bases in Iraq – the Al-Assad airbase in the south and a US-operated base in Irbil in the north.

More than a million Iranians took to the streets of cities across the country for the general’s funeral chanting “death to America”, with leaders pledging a devastating revenge to drive US troops from the region.
But following the strikes Iran’s foreign minister Javad Zarif appeared to suggest the matter was over, describing the retaliation as “concluded”.
However Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei doubled down on calls to expel the US from the region – a position Iran has long held – and ominously said “revenge is a different issue”.
