Iran’s foreign minister says the lifting of US sanctions on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of Tehran’s chief demands in talks on restoring the 2015 deal limiting its nuclear program.

“Certainly the issue of [lifting sanctions against] the Guards is part of the talks,” Hossein Amir-Abdollahian tells Iranian state television, according to Reuters.

He also says the IRGC has said an agreement should not be held up over the issue, while vowing not to cross the Islamic Republic’s “red lines.”
