The PM was tested after coming into contact w/ his parliamentary adviser who is infected with the virus

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tested negative for the coronavirus on Monday, along with his staff and family.

The prime minister was tested after coming into contact with his parliamentary adviser, Rivka Paluch, who tested positive for the coronavirus early Monday after her husband was admitted to hospital.

Paluch, who advises the prime minister on issues concerning ultra-Orthodox affairs, reportedly had limited contact with the premier.

Netanyahu decided to go into self-isolation after it was revealed that Paluch’s husband had contracted COVID-19.
