The total area of Land making up the modern-day State of Israel is just under 9,000 square miles. The size of the Country is equivalent to the size of the American State of New Jersey. Meanwhile, the Arab nations who are always shouting at Israel to give up land to the Palestinians for “peace” are MUCH larger.
Saudi Arabia is nearly 1 MILLION square miles, Iran is over 600,000, Egypt is just under 400,000, Turkey is over 300,000, Iraq is nearly 200,000, Syria is just over 71,000, and Jordan is about 35,000 square miles. How come NONE of the fellow Islamic nations of Palestine are offering some land for their so-called “refugee” brothers and sisters to dwell in for a “Palestinian State”?
These Arab nations have FAR MORE land to spare than tiny Israel does. Think about it, if these Arab nations loved Palestine (like they claim) as much as they HATE Israel, Palestine could be a bigger piece of real estate than Israel is today. Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia are all neighboring their Palestinian brethren. These 3 nations have nearly 1,440,000 square miles of land combined.
You mean to tell me that they can’t each cut off a sliver of land to create a nation state for the Palestinians? They can’t spare 5,000 square miles between the three of them? That would solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict TODAY. Yet, these nations don’t want peace between Jews and Arabs. They want war. They all want to see the Jews pushed into the Mediterranean Sea, and for Israel the nation to be “no more”.
While Iran boldly proclaims that they want to see Israel “blown off of the map”, all of the other Islamic nations desire the same outcome but won’t say it as bluntly. So, instead the world leaders of these nations are always trying to demonize Israel in the realm of public opinion. They pass resolution after resolution against Israel in the corrupt United Nations, dubbing the Jewish State an “occupier”.
They don’t want Israel to give up Land for peace with the Palestinians, but like the Hamas terror group in Gaza says, they want Israel to cede ALL of its land to Palestine. Israel has already tried to give the Palestinians “Land for Peace” in the past, such as Gaza, and we all know how that turned out. Instead of receiving peace from the Palestinians in return for Israel’s strip of land, the Jewish State now receives rockets and Hamas terrorism from Gaza on a daily basis.
So, understand friends, no amount of land given by Israel to the Palestinians would ever bring “peace”. You can never have peace with a people who are bent on your destruction. Israel shouldn’t have to give any land to Palestine for peace, or for any other reason. Israel owes land to Palestine about as much as the United States, or Britain, or France, or Germany, or Russia does.
Actually, all of the other nations of the world would “owe” Palestine land before Israel ever would in God’s eyes; because Israel holds claim to the only Land on planet earth that was ever inherited through a Promise by the LORD God Almighty Himself. God has given land to nations and peoples throughout the Holy Bible, and throughout history, but there is only ONE NATION to which he has ever PROMISED land as an everlasting possession.
That nation we all know to be ISRAEL.
And that Holy Land which He deeded to them ALONE as eternal property is supposed to be 300,000 square miles! That is a far cry from the 8,600 square miles making up the modern-day Nation of Israel. The real question that we should be asking in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is – If Israel only possesses under 9,000 square miles of land today, then who possesses the other 18.5 MILLION acres of the Jews’ Promised Land?
It is only then that we come to the realization that there truly are “occupiers” in the Middle East today, and Israel is the only one who is NOT squatting on someone else’s land! Yet, the world is only calling for little Israel to give up their God-given Land for “peace”. This is due to this generation’s Biblical ignorance, lack of historical knowledge, or simply unbridled anti-semitism.
Not only is Israel not “occupying” anyone else’s land. On the contrary, they do not possess all of the Land which Almighty God has said that they SHOULD! So, to answer the pressing question as to who is occupying the other 291,000 square miles of Israel today, we need to examine the borders of the Holy Land given to the Jews by Almighty God in the Holy Bible.
The Land deeds can be found in Numbers 34:1-15, Deuteronomy 19:8, Ezekiel 47:13-20, Judges 20:1, 1st Samuel 3:20, 2nd Samuel 3:10 – 17:11 – 24:2 & 15, 1st Kings 4:25, 1st Chronicles 21:2, and 2nd Chronicles 30:5. These verses of scripture reveal that the modern day nations of PALESTINE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Sudan are ALL “occupying” Israel’s Land. Not the other way around.
O’ that this world would get educated in history!
The real conflict in the Middle East today should not be over the Jewish State having “illegal settlements” on so-called Palestinian land, but should be about Palestine and all of Israel’s Arab neighbors illegally possessing Land that God has given solely to Israel. Since most of this nation and world today is obviously oblivious to history and the truth about Israel and Palestine, prepare to be educated!
After the Jews were EXPELLED from their God-given Land by the Romans, about a century after Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross, the Land of Israel was RENAMED “Palestine” by the anti-Semitic leader HADRIAN in 130 AD. He chose the name because it represented the ancient enemy of the Jews and Israel, the “Philistines”. Hadrian was responsible for paganizing the Holy Land and DESECRATING God’s Holy City, Jerusalem.
He decreed that Roman Maps would no longer use the Biblical Names of “Judea” or “Israel” for the Land. He erased these Biblical names in an attempt to scrub from history the Jewish claims to the Holy Land. Hence, because of Hadrian’s hatred for the Jews, today we have a society that is deceived to somehow believe that the Holy Land belongs to the ENEMIES of Israel (Philistines-Palestinians) as opposed to the rightful owners, the Israelites.
Look at any Biblical Map and you’ll see that there WAS a “Palestine”, but it was also called Philistia, and was a very tiny area neighboring the Holy Land of Israel. Yet today, thanks to the Jew-hater Hadrian, the Palestinians are claiming that Israel has stolen THEIR land, but the Holy Bible and God Almighty vehemently DISAGREE with the Palestinian claim.
Remember this time-tested FACT: No matter how many times that a lie is told, it is STILL a lie. No matter how many times God’s Truth is mocked, ignored or denied, it is STILL the Truth. The Truth is that Palestinians OCCUPIED the Land of Israel after the Romans and Muslims brutally murdered and exiled Jews from their God-given Land until 1947.
Then, as God promised over 3,000 years ago in the Book of Ezekiel, the LORD brought the Jewish people BACK to their Holy Land in May of 1948 (the EXACT Year in which He promised to do so Biblically). When the Israelites were returned to their Biblical Homeland, they proclaimed the recreation of the Nation of Israel.
Ever since, as God also prophesied, the muslims have HATED Israel and have made war with the Jewish State out of JEALOUSY that God gave them the Holy Land, and NOT the Arabs. When I said that Israel became a Nation again “in the EXACT Year that God promised”, I was referring to an amazing mathematical Biblical Prophecy in the Book of Ezekiel.
God prophesied that Israel would be exiled from the Land for about 2,500 Years, but after that period of punishment, The LORD would return the Jews to their OWN Land. In 606 BC, the Jewish exile began, and on May 14, 1948, Israel was officially reborn EXACTLY when God prophesied that they would be. God kept His Promise to the EXACT Year, and even Season. Next, we have to talk about the year 1967. The Palestinians claim that Israel kicked them out of Israel in that year, thus making them “refugees”, and that the Jews began to “occupy” their land. Time for me to shoot down their false claims with another HISTORY lesson. Between June 5th-10th of 1967, the famous Six-Day War was fought.
As they attempted to do in 1948, all of Israel’s Islamic neighbors (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq) sought to wipe out the Jewish State, as their armies attacked Israel from every border. Pakistan, Palestine, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Kuwait, Sudan, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and the Soviet Union all contributed militarily and monetarily to their campaign.
In nothing short of a miracle, the tiny army of Israel defeated over a dozen Islamic armies which were DOUBLE the size, with TRIPLE the aircraft and tanks. There is no one who can ever deny that Almighty GOD was fighting on the side of His Chosen Nation of Israel in that war. On top of that, the fact that Israel won the war in 6 days, and were able to “REST” on the 7th Day (Biblical Sabbath), was undeniably a sign of God’s Hand at work.
One of the most important Prophecies fulfilled in the Six-Day War was Israel’s reunification of their Biblical Capital City, JERUSALEM. This is why when you hear of Peace Plans floated by former U.S. Presidents or the U.N., they refer to “1967 lines”, “occupied territory”, “West Bank”, or “settlements”. Any Holy Land that Israel RECLAIMED in the War is considered “illegitimate” by many in the international community today.
This is completely foreign to international consensus on land obtained in war. Throughout history, whenever the United States, Turkey, Russia, Britain, or any other nation captured land through war, they got to KEEP that land. They won it, they keep it. The ONLY nation on earth to whom that international rule doesn’t seem to apply is, of course, ISRAEL.
The devil has always hated God’s Chosen people from the beginning, and there is no doubt that he still influences leaders of the world to this very day. Following the war, Israel actually welcomed the Palestinians back to their homes in the Land, on the condition that they would live in peace with their Jewish neighbors.
What all the liberals crying about “Palestinian refugees” today won’t tell you is that the Palestinians REFUSED to live alongside of the Jews, and instead integrated into the Islamic nations surrounding Israel, such as Jordan and Egypt. They willfully gave up their homes and land because they couldn’t bear living in a “Jewish State”. So, there is no such thing as Palestinian refugees.
The fact is, the Palestinians CHOSE not to return to the Land. A refugee is someone who is forced out of a Land, while an Emigrant is someone who chooses to leave their land to settle in another. I think I covered most of the bases that needed to be covered today, and I hope that I have opened a lot of otherwise deceived eyes to the TRUTH. I recently wrote about President Donald Trump possibly calling for Israel to divide Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria in his upcoming “Peace Plan” with the Palestinians, and now hopefully all of you will understand why I strongly condemn such a plan. Israel doesn’t owe the Palestinians ANYTHING. Not one inch of land. If anyone owes anyone land in the Middle East, all of the Islamic nations which I mentioned earlier owe Israel a whole lot of land.
291,000 square miles to be exact!
I urge President Trump to make sure that he includes all of those nations in any “Land for Peace” deals between Israel and Palestine. If you’re gonna start having nations give land away for peace Mr. President, then start with those who have taken the most! Israel on the other hand, has never taken anything. They have only been taken FROM. Lord willing that unfair trend will end with you Mr. President. Lord willing.
