An Israeli who helped neutralize the terrorists who carried out the shooting attack at the entrance to the city of Jerusalem on Thursday morning and was accidentally shot by soldiers, was pronounced dead at Shaare Zedek Hospital on Thursday night.
An initial investigation of the attack found that IDF soldiers who were involved in neutralizing the terrorists accidentally shot a civilian who helped neutralize the terrorists.
Footage from the scene showed the man raising his hands while sitting on his knees on the road before being shot by the soldiers and suffering critical injuries, to which he succumbed on Thursday evening.
