Jordan’s foreign ministry demanded Israel put an end to “aggression against the residents of eastern Jerusalem” in wake of the latest tensions between security officials and Arab rioters.
The ministry said Israel was responsible for the wellbeing of the residents and for allowing eastern Jerusalem Arabs to take part in voting for PA elections. Jordan also criticized Israel’s “measures against PA Arabs visiting the al-Aqsa mosque.”
