BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 P.M.) – The Russian Air Force reportedly delivered a new supply of weapons to Syria this evening after two of their airlifters were tracked arriving in southwestern Latakia.

According to the website Flight Tracker, two Antonov An-124 airlifters arrived at the Hmeimim Airbase in southwestern Latakia this evening.

The An-124 is the largest airlifter to ever travel to Syria, which indicates they are likely transporting some heavy weapons to the Syrian military.

This move by the Russian Air Force comes just weeks after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a large-scale offensive inside the Hama Governorate’s northwestern countryside.

In the past, the Russian Air Force has increased its transport flights to Syria during the SAA’s offensives. So there is a strong indication that the Russian military is transporting more weapons to the countryr
