Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beitenu shows first cracks since he decided to hold out for a Likud-Kahol Lavan unity government as his party’s sole option. MKs Oded Ofrer and Hamad Amar in a TV interview urged their leader to prefer supporting a right-wing Likud-led government rather than a third general election in a year. With Yisrael Beitenu, this government would have a breakthrough majority of 63. The MKs blamed Kahol-Lavan for the political deadlock.
