Muslim Terrorists Kill 24 Christians, Including Pastor, During Service at Church in Burkina Faso

Several Muslim terrorists opened fire at a church in Burkina Faso, Africa, on Sunday; The pastor, security forces, and several others were killed while many others were wounded; This adds to the hundreds that have been killed in 2019 alone.

On Sunday, Muslim terrorists entered a church service in Northwestern Burkina Faso and killed several security guards and the pastor, as well as several attendees. The total death count reached 2 with over 15 others injured. Burkina Faso is located in Western Africa just south of Mali. Hundreds have been killed by Muslim extremists throughout 2019 alone and tens if not hundreds of thousands have fled their homes. A report claims that as many as 20 terrorists were involved in this attack.

The church is located in the village of Pansi which is in the Yagha region of Burkina Faso and a report indicates that while a number of people were killed and injured, others were also kidnapped. On Monday, government officials stated that the terrorists “attacked the peaceful residents of this area after identifying them and separating them from non-residents.” In addition to their attacks on Christians, these terrorists are also attacking other Muslim groups.

According to the Norwegian Refugee Council, this region in Africa has seen well over half-a-million individuals killed or displaced from their homes, taking its biggest increase in 2019. The Regional Director for Human Rights Watch, Corinne Dufka, stated that attacks on civilians, including Christians, Muslims, and others, are rising at an unprecedented rate.
