At today’s ceremony marking the appointment of the new IDF Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevy, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed, among other things, some of the threats facing the country.
“In face of the threats against us and primarily Iran and its terrorist proxies, we must show absolute determination,” Netanyahu said. “That’s what we’ve been doing over the past decade and we will continue to do so. We have conducted uncompromising operations to stop Iran from entrenching itself in Syria and to prevent the transfer of precision weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon. We have also continued to take steps to prevent Iran’s nuclear activities.”
