Netanyahu sends offer to Gantz to form emergency unity government

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Twitter that he had sent an offer to Blue and White head Benny Gantz to join an emergency national unity government led by Netanyahu on Sunday morning.
The proposal is a government that will last for six months and ministerial positions will be split equally. The prime minister will not be able to fire Blue and White ministers and Blue and White will not be able to bring a no-confidence vote against Netanyahu.
After the six month period, the situation will return to the state it is in currently. Netanyahu added that he is willing to discuss and national unity government with a rotation based on equality.
