BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:10 A.M.) – The Israeli Air Force recently launched a heavy attack on the T-4 Airbase this past weekend, targeting a small installation inside this strategic site in eastern Homs.

The Israel-based Image Satellite International released two satellite photos of the T-4 Airbase, showing the before-and-after images of the installation after Sunday’s attack.

According to Image Satellite International, the Israeli airstrikes likely targeted an Iranian drone base at the T-4 Airbase.

While this is not confirmed, it is well-known that Iran has used the T-4 Airbase to launch drone strikes against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) in central and eastern Syria.

In addition to the Iranian forces, the Russian military also used the T-4 Airbase to conduct airstrikes against the Islamic State.

However, Israel very likely informed Russia before the attack, which is why they were able to avoid the latter at the T-4 Airbase.

Since the start of June, the Israeli military has conducted at least two attacks on Syrian military installations, resulting in the death of at least a half dozen soldiers.
