A pro-Israel activist isn’t surprised that the leaders of America and Israel are under attack by forces who want to bring them down.
President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were together at the White House Tuesday to unveil the president’s long-awaited Middle East peace plan. But back in Israel, the country’s attorney general decided to take the opportunity to file an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against Netanyahu for bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.
The Israeli leader is now the first sitting prime minister in Israel’s history to be indicted – and with Trump’s impeachment trial in full swing, both leaders are now facing political enemies determined to remove them from office.
Laurie Cardoza-Moore is president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations.
“It is not a surprise that both of these men are being attacked in similar fashion to bring them down because they are men of integrity and they are men of faith,” she contends. “They believe God’s covenant, and they are willing to defend it and move in the direction to get them there.”
The PJTN leader argues the charges against Netanyahu are a big to-do about nothing.
“The prime minister maybe took a cigar and smoked it, or took a bottle of champagne that somebody had given to them,” Cardoza-Moore acknowledges. “There are people who want to destroy him because they want to destroy the nation of Israel, just as much as there are people who want to destroy President Trump and … these United States.”
