Qatari envoy: We are working to contain escalation in Gaza

The Qatari envoy for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Muhammad al-Amadi, said on Wednesday that Qatar was investing much effort to contain the escalation in the Gaza Strip, in parallel with efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.“Qatar has been in intensive contact in recent hours, and they are still ongoing… in order to contain the escalation and save the residents of the Gaza Strip from further crises,” al-Amadi said.
