US authorities reportedly sent a sharp protest to the Foreign and Transportation Ministries, asserting a violation of the aviation agreement between the countries against the background of the rescue flights that begin today between the two countries.
According to the Americans, the fact that only El Al received approval to operate the flights and not other companies such as Delta and United violates the principle of equal opportunities enshrined in the agreement, Channel 12 reported.
