Guatemala’s President-elect Alejandro Giammattei met with Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz during his visit to Israel and told him that the first thing he’ll do, when stepping into office next month, will be to designate Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah as a terror group, Hebrew-language outlet Ynet reported on Sunday.
Giammattei said that he will authorize through Guatemala’s security council the announcement, according to Ynet.
