Only the Biblically illiterate fail to see that we are in the “Last Days.” The Last Days began with the First World War as Christ said in the Olivet Discourse. Nation rising against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom. This is a Jewish idiomatic phrase, which means a conflict in the total region under discussion. In the Olivet Discourse He was discussing the events surrounding His Second Coming, which pertain to the entire world. Matthew records our Lord’s words with respect to the beginning of the end or as the Bible states the beginning of the latter days.
Mat 24:7–8
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows (KJV)
