Sirens sound in Neve Ativ, Ein Qiniyye and Kibbutz Snir
Rocket alert sirens sounded late Friday morning in Israeli communities near the Syrian border, including Neve Ativ, Ein Qiniyye and Kibbutz Snir, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
According to initial reports, up to 20 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Residents reported hearing at least two explosions in the area and video footage showed what appeared to be projectiles being intercepted mid-air.
One of the projectiles reportedly fell in an open area.
