John 3:8 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit (KJV).
Some have said that one does not need to be “born again.” They refer to that as a particular type of Christian. However, Christ told Nicodemus that he had to be born again. He did not make it an option for one to enter the family of God. One can only do that by being born again. Why is that so important? Why did Christ stress this concept with Nicodemus? God wants us to “become” His children by entering His family. This is the only way in! Christ is the only way to heaven and one must be born again to come in to a saving grace knowledge of Jesus the Christ. So nobody on earth will go to heaven if they don’t believe that Christ is the way and if they don’t accept His salvation.
