The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Hezbollah had withdrawn a large part of its forces in secret before the attack in Syria attributed to Israel from several areas in the capital Damascus and the south of the country.
Civilian sources told the observatory that some of the forces had moved to the a-Zabdani area in the western suburb of Damascus, where Hezbollah military bases are located.
