The book of Matthew is very clear. Jesus presented Himself to Israel as their long awaited Messiah.

Matthew 1:1 says:

The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

As predicted in the book of Daniel, the Messiah was rejected and cut off (put to death).

Daniel 9:25-26 says:

25 So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.

26 Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

Verse 26 says that the Messiah will be cut off, and that is exactly what has happened. The Jews put to death their long awaited Messiah just as it had been prophesied long ago.

There is no “Body of Christ” in the book of Matthew. Much of the book is focused upon how a Jew will be able to enter into God’s Kingdom after the tribulation. The Jews inheritance is earthly. They will inherit the land (which is where God’s Kingdom will be), and they will live in it.

Deuteronomy 12:10 says:

“When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security,

Psalm 25:12-13 says:

12 Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

13 His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.

Isaiah 65:9 says:

“I will bring forth offspring from Jacob, And an heir of My mountains from Judah; Even My chosen ones shall inherit it, And My servants will dwell there.

The Church’s Inheritance Is Heavenly.

Ephesians 1:3 says:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

Ephesians 2:4-6 says:

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved ),

6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

And Colossians 3:1-2 says:

1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

The Church is NOT the Kingdom. If you are talking with someone and you tell them that your helping to bring in God’s Kingdom, than you are in error. You are serving in the “Body of Christ” not the Kingdom. The Kingdom and Kingdom promises belong to Israel. The church is not a part of Israel or the kingdom. The church is separate from Israel. The church is the Body of Christ, and will soon be raptured into heaven, not into the kingdom.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 says:

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

Then verse 18 says:

Therefore comfort one another with these words.

We are to be consistently comforting and encouraging one another in regards to the imminent appearing of our Great God and Savior Christ Jesus (Titus 2:13), which is the Pre-Trib Rapture of the church.

KEEP LOOKING UP (Titus 2:13)

GOD BLESS – FRED
