President Trump does not have coronavirus, according to the president’s physician.
“Last night after an in-depth discussion with the President regarding COVID-19 testing, he elected to proceed,” Dr. Sean Conley wrote in a memorandum. “This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative.”
The president had come under intense fire from the Mainstream Media for not being tested after he was in contact with someone who may or may not have had the disease at Mar-a-Lago.
“The president remains symptom-free,” Dr. Conley announced.
The president announced earlier today that he had taken the test after the incessant badgering of reporters.
THE PRESIDENT: I also took the test last night.
REPORTER: You did take the test?
REPORTER: You took the test?
THE PRESIDENT: Yeah. And I decided I should, based on the press conference yesterday. People were asking that I take the test.
REPORTER: When will we have the result, Mr. President?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t know. Whatever it takes. A day or two days. Whatever — whatever it is. They send it to a lab. But I’ve been —
REPORTER: Why did you decide to take it?
REPORTER: Sir, you’ve been sending mixed messages —
THE PRESIDENT: Only because the press is going crazy.
I sincerely doubt the White House Press Corps will be pleased with this latest development.
