Turkey’s consul to Israel visits Turkish national who set ablaze cargo ship off coast of Haifa

Turkey’s consul to Israel on Sunday visited a Turkish national currently under arrest for setting ablaze a cargo ship off the coast of Haifa.

The Israeli military says naval forces boarded the vessel early Sunday at the request of the ship’s captain. Hours later, the military said it apprehended a hidden passenger and transferred him to the police for questioning.
