The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms that a special meeting called by the US on Iran’s breach of the JCPOA will take place on Wednesday, July 10. US Ambassador Jacki Wolcott said earlier that the meting was called to discuss the watchdog’s confirmation that Iran had breached the accord’s limit of 300kg for stockpiles of enriched uranium. Russia’s ambassador Mikhail Ulyanov at the Vienna-based agency questioned “the common sense” of the American move after its withdrawal from the treaty. He called the Iranian breaches “minor deviations.”
