By TOI staff

Rocket sirens warning of incoming fire are sounding intermittently overnight Friday-Saturday across southern Israel, as the Israeli military has continued to carry out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip targeting Palestinian Islamic Jihad weapons sites and launching positions.

Sirens were heard in Sderot, Nir Am, Nahal Oz, Kfar Aza, Nitzamin, and Kerem Shalom, all near the Palestinian enclave, in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

There are no immediate reports of injuries.
