Post-MAGA, Pre-Apocalypse

Pete Garcia Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity… With the surprising election of President Trump last November, many within the Christian community thought that the days of social and political marginalization were finally over. The days of anti-Christian legislation and heavy-handed political correctness were finally going to get their comeuppance. Trump’s victory was …

The Motivational Power of Grace

A right understanding of grace can change our motivation from guilt to love. Romans 6:1 – 6:4 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk …

CHRIST’S CERTAINTY CONCERNING HIS SHEEP – A MOTIVATION TO PREACH THE GOSPEL.

John 10:16 “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” Not simply, “they ought to hear My voice,” not simply “they MAY hear My voice”, not “they will do so IF they are willing.” There is no “if”, no “perhaps “, no uncertainty about it. “They shall hear My voice” is His own positive, unqualified, absolute promise. Here then, is where faith is to rest! Continue your quest, dear friend, after the “other sheep” of Christ’s. Be …

Glorious Change Coming

By Terry James Something sinister lurks just ahead within this world of darkening uncertainty. The forewarning thought simmers beneath daily life that change is coming-transformational change that will make these present hours seem like the good old days for the inhabitants of future earth. Princes and presidents, potentates and populations at large sense gnawing dread spawned by the seemingly unstoppable spread of murderous, racial/religious hatreds. Proliferation of nuclear weaponry among the most violence-prone among us appears on the brink of unleashing man’s final war. The term “Armageddon” is regularly used to describe man’s greatest fear during hourly newscasts. To quote …

And If The Dead Rise Not. . . – by Jack Kinsella

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1st Corinthians 15:51-53) Throughout the New Testament, the word translated as ‘mystery’ comes from the Greek’musterion’ which literally means ‘secret’ or ‘hidden thing’. In our modern English, however, ‘mystery’ is understood in the Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmesian sense …

“We … beseech you that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” 2 Corinthians 6:1

Oswald Chambers’ “My Utmost for His Highest” “We … beseech you that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” 2 Corinthians 6:1 The grace you had yesterday will not do for to-day. Grace is the overflowing favour of God; you can always reckon it is there to draw upon. “In much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses” – that is where the test for patience comes. Are you failing the grace of God there? Are you saying – Oh, well, I won’t count this time? It is not a question of praying and asking God to help …

Who will occupy the Millennial Kingdom?

Answer: There will be two distinct groups occupying the Earth during the millennial kingdom—those with glorified bodies, and those with earthly bodies who lived through the tribulation and on into the millennial kingdom. Those with glorified bodies consist of the Church, receiving glorified bodies at the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:21-23, 51-53), and those who are resurrected after Christ returns to Earth (Revelation 20:4-6). Those who have earthly bodies can be subdivided into two groups: believing Gentiles and believing Jews (Israel). In Revelation 19:11-16, we find the return of Jesus Christ to Earth, known as His second coming. …

89 Millennial Mountain & Angel of Lord

Sunday June 25, 2017 Dr Daniel Woodhead Because of The Great Tribulation the earth will undergo many topographical alterations. The central mountain in Israel will become the highest mountain in the entire world. The top of this mountain will have an area that will be fifty miles square (Ezekiel 45:1). It will incorporate a significant number of buildings for the management of the earth’s government during the thousand year reign of the Messiah Jesus during His Messianic Kingdom. This will be the headquarters of the earth for one thousand years. The Lord has revealed to many of the prophets information …

Ezekiel 38 & 39 ……. Message 1-7

In this video Dr Woodhead discusses the various nations who persecuted the nation Israel. The Times of the Gentiles are also discussed. The biblical text as stated in Ezekiel 38:1-39:16 describe an invasion of Israel from the north and the subsequent total destruction of the coalition of invading forces once they reach the area of the mountains of Israel. It appears that there is a preemptive attack by the Israelites with a nuclear weapons exchange that results in a seven-year clean-up period. It is first necessary to look at all the details of the invasion in order to accurately decipher …

“Get thee up into the high mountain.” Isaiah 40:9

Our knowledge of Christ is somewhat like climbing one of our Welsh mountains. When you are at the base you see but little: the mountain itself appears to be but one-half as high as it really is. Confined in a little valley, you discover scarcely anything but the rippling brooks as they descend into the stream at the foot of the mountain. Climb the first rising knoll, and the valley lengthens and widens beneath your feet. Go higher, and you see the country for four or five miles round, and you are delighted with the widening prospect. Mount still, and …

How to Know God’s Will

Praying honestly and studying Scripture help Christians distinguish God’s will from their own motivations PROVERBS 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Sadly, we frequently fool ourselves into believing that what we want to do is also what God wants us to do. Therefore, when we believe we have heard from the Lord, it is quite important for us to ask some serious questions. Is it consistent with the Word of God? God will never …

Seeing Jesus Christ

Reflections But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Cor. 2:14) Natural man cannot receive the things of God – he has no frame of reference — because natural man, left to himself, does not know Jesus Christ. All discernment in the Christian life is the product of knowing and seeing Jesus Christ. HE is the Light and the Truth. Left to myself, my natural man will instead accept as the Truth whatever my makeup tells me is …
