A NEW RACE OF HUMAN…COMMENTARY ON EPHESIANS, (PT. 1)
A NEW RACE OF HUMAN…COMMENTARY ON EPHESIANS, (PT. 1) His (Jesus’) purpose was to make in Himself one new man (the Church) out of the two (Jew and Gentile), thus making peace and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross by which He put to death their hostility. (Eph 2:15-16) The history makes it so clear. God and man simply could not dwell together. When they tried, man’s sin eventually drove God away, lest He destroy man. For a time He could allow some personal visitation as long as He kept Himself locked …
HOW TO SERVE GOD
Titus 3:5-8(KJV) 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. When …
Ephesians 1
Ephesians 1 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in …
“He was sore athirst, and called on the Lord, and said, thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst?” Judges 15:18
“He was sore athirst, and called on the Lord, and said, thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst?” Judges 15:18 Samson was thirsty and ready to die. The difficulty was totally different from any which the hero had met before. Merely to get thirst assuaged is nothing like so great a matter as to be delivered from a thousand Philistines! but when the thirst was upon him, Samson felt that little present difficulty more weighty than the great past difficulty out of which he had so specially been …
One Mediator
Reflections One Mediator For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Tim 2:5) A, “mediator,” is a proxy; one who connects two parties. Jesus Christ is the sole Mediator between the believer and God. If Christ is in us, then by His very presence in us, we are joined to both Him and the Father. Now, notice what this means: It means that there must NEVER be anyone or anything introduced into our relationship with God who acts as ANOTHER mediator. There are no mediators in addition to Christ – there …
Revelation Message 60 All Who Enter The Kingdom are Saved
Now when the population enter the Messianic Kingdom each one will have experienced true regeneration. Not easy beliefism. There is a major distinction. One is simply lip service and the other is a fully changed heart toward God coupled with repentance. In fact when the entire Nation Israel is “Saved” there will be a national confession of their sins, which will last for two days (Hosea 6:1-3)! So the entire Nation of Israelites who confess their sins and believe that Jesus is who He said He was go into the Kingdom. All others die and some even by their own family’s …
In Your Anger Do Not Sin
A Bible Study by Jack Kelley “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:26).” This is the verse the Lord impressed upon my heart as I was asking for a topic for this article. It’s familiar to anyone who has ever experienced any Christian counseling, and like many Bible verses it bears closer examination. Translations differ slightly in rendering this passage and the Greek contains some interesting insights, but Paul was quoting from Psalm 4 where the intent of the …
The Trial of Faith
Reflections From the Psalms Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? (Ps. 10:1) One of the traits of any trial of faith is that it will seem as if God is indeed, “afar off.” It will often seem like He is indifferent. Perhaps the greatest trauma in any trial of faith is the sense that, for reasons unknown to us, God has forsaken us. We may cry, “Why are you hiding Yourself from me, Lord?” Of course, God has not forsaken us. Neither is He hiding Himself from us. The problem, therefore, …
By Grace Through Faith
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:8-10) The relationship between grace, faith, and our works, is given in this passage. In short, we are saved BY grace, THROUGH faith, UNTO good works. If we alter this relationship we are in danger of creating a false gospel; a false Christianity. It is a fact that faith …
The Strange Case of God’s Allocation of World Geography
The Divine Allocation of World Geography Near the end of Moses’ life he wrote a prophetic message to the people of Israel. We have come to call this the “Song of Moses” for it poetically expresses his thoughts regarding the past and future of the Nation of Israel. The “Song of Moses” is found in Chapter 32:1-43 in the book of Deuteronomy. However, in chapter 31 Moses gives specific directions, which he wrote just before he died on Mount Nebo (circa 1404 B.C.). In chapter 31, he gave two direct commandments. Deuteronomy 31:24-26 22 Moses therefore wrote this song …

Jesus Wept
Jesus Wept John 11:1-44 Lazarus was sick. And Mary and Martha sent for Jesus so that He could come and heal him. But when Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, He did not go to him. Instead, He stayed where He was another two days. He also said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” (John 11:4) Clearly, Jesus wasn’t the least bit concerned about this situation. He fully intended to take His time getting to Lazarus. Have you ever felt as if God just HAD …
Pitfalls in Seeking God’s Will
If you ask with a believing heart and listen for God’s answer, He’ll teach you how to live a life pleasing to Him Pitfalls in Seeking God’s Will Psalm 25:4-5 4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. 5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. As a pastor, I am frequently asked how to make the right decision in challenging circumstances. Sadly, I see many people make mistakes in this area. For example, some people pray hastily for the …
