The terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem on Saturday afternoon is Muhammad Shauchat Muhammad Salima, a 25-year-old illegal resident identified with Fatah, from the Palestinian town of Salfit in Samaria, near Ariel. He was imprisoned for a year for incitement in Israel, between 2019 and 2020.
