56–Israel’s birth pangs

After giving birth when the intensity of the pain is gone she continues to live with him and love him. A woman willingly endures her labor pains because: she knows that in the end she will give birth to a child. So, too, Israel willingly endures its exile because it knows that it will end […]

The Restrainer Identified from II Thessalonians

Dr. Todd Baker, Professor at Scofield Biblical Institute and President of Brit Hadashah Ministries identifies the Restrainer in this teaching video as given in the book of II Thessalonians. He further describes the differences between the Second coming of Jesus and the Rapture. He firmly identifies the Rapture as occurring before the tribulation begins. It begins when Jesus opens the seals on the scroll starting in Revelation Chapter 6:1.

The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed.

Psalm 2 (KJV) Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath …

THE SON OF MAN

THE SON OF MAN The title “Son of Man” is Jesus’ favorite self-identification and is commonly understood to refer to His full humanity. However, in the interpretation of this title from its OT background, it is more likely an expression of deity. It appears in Dan 7:13-14 in the midst of the vision of the Ancient of Days. None other than the other figure present, “One like a son of man” (7:13). This One also is …

You’ve all seen him. The defeated Christian. The guy who tries and tries, but after being saved for thirty years, he still hasn’t quit smoking. Or the Christian who you know is saved, but he just can’t quite give up the bottle. Or the Christian who got saved, but doesn’t go to church, because he just doesn’t think he fits in with the rest of the crowd? Or won’t go because he thinks that …
