In this video Dr Woodhead discusses Joseph being cast into prison due to Potiphar’s wife accusing him of sexual aggression. In this video Dr Woodhead discusses the story of Joseph’s elevation to overseer in Potiphar’s house. While there in Potiphar’s employ his wife came on to him demanding a sexual union. Joseph refused with two good reasons. Joseph had control over the land and it was his job to oversee the dispensing of food to the citizens of Egypt during the famine and authorizing it to be given to foreign purchasers as well.
