In this segment of the series “As in The Days of Noah Were” Dr Woodhead discusses two aspects of culture before Divine Judgment. 1) An Inordinate Desire for Pleasure and 2) No thoughts for God In word or deed. Both of which were occurring prior to the Flood and before every world empire collapsed. When Jesus used this term He was speaking of the days leading up to the Tribulation which will be all over the earth.
Psalm 27:14 14 Wait for the Lord;be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Our culture is an “instant” society. Because of inventions like the computer and the microwave, we’re used to quick results. A fast pace isn’t necessarily bad, but we should guard against becoming so set on immediate fulfillment that we can’t wait for God’s timing. This problem existed long before the computer age. In Genesis 15:4-5, God revealed to Abraham that though he and his wife Sarah were too old to have children, a great nation would come from him. Abraham believed God …
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;behold, all things are become new. (II Cor. 5:17) Have we realized that resurrection life in Christ is not merely the result of a reversal of death? It is the result of tasting the fullness of death and conquering it, and of passing through death into NEWNESS OF LIFE. The life that results is a different KIND OF LIFE than what originally died. It is life that has conquered death and can die no more. God has raised other people from the dead. …
“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3:4). If we ask what is the very essence and heart of Christianity and the Christian life, the answer is that God has summed up and centred all things in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. This means that Christianity is not a number of things as in themselves, such as beliefs, doctrines, dogmas, practices, forms, rites, orders, or virtues. It is not salvation, regeneration, sanctification, power, life, joy, peace, etc, as things; it is just Himself, and Himself as resident …
In this video Dr Woodhead discusses events before major God induced world catastrophes. One is Gross Materialism and the other is uniformitarianism. Materialism is properly defined as only seeing the material and not the spiritual. Uniformitarianism describes a belief that the way things are now is how they have always been.
Numbers 20:1-13 20 And the people of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh. And Miriam died there and was buried there. 2 Now there was no water for the congregation. And they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron. 3 And the people quarreled with Moses and said, “Would that we had perished when our brothers perished before the Lord! 4 Why have you brought the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we should die here, both we and our cattle? 5 …
Reflections God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Gal. 6:14) Crucifixion means death – and so Paul is stating that when he was baptized into the death of Christ he was severed from this world or earthly realm. When Paul was joined to Christ in His death, he was severed from this earthly realm and made a citizen of the heavenlies. Paul is referring to the fact that we are all born of this world as members of …

Prior to the Flood and Today there has been a rapid development in technology. Dr. Woodhead continues the discussion of the events prior to the Flood and what is happening today to mirror these pre Flood events.

Because the world is getting increasingly corrupt it is time to run this series again. In this video Dr Woodhead discusses the various conditions on earth before the flood and now as we await God’s judgment for our sins. This is message I in a new series following the teaching from Jesus when He said, “As in the Days of Noah Were So Shall the Coming of the Son of Man be.”
“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. Daniel 7:7 We know that according to Scripture, there is coming a governmental system upon the earth that will absolutely dominate the rest of the world to the point that everyone, everywhere will be subservient to their authority. We also know, that given our current chaotic …
On the 10th of Av of 591 B.C. some of the elders of Israel came to Ezekiel recognizing his prophetic abilities and desiring that he connect with God for them. It is not given exactly what these men asked Ezekiel but from God’s response in this chapter is appears they may not have been genuinely pious. Certainly the people they represented had abandoned their worship of God. These elders might have been divided in their loyalties. God recognizes their true nature and that of the people of Israel and is about to remind the nation through them of the …
