What Happened to Ananias and Sapphira? Dr. Andy Woods Sugar Land Bible Church One of the most peculiar stories of the Bible involves the divine slaying of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11. The events of Acts 5:1-11 must be understood in harmony with the communal living arrangement practiced by the early church. Jews, who […]
https://youtu.be/WZLUHJBD0mA Genesis and the creation account are sober truth. It provides us with our origin and refutes all the secular accounts of our appearance on the earth. Revelation 5:1-14 5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? […]
Whose Battle? “And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands” (1 Samuel 17:47). Let this point be settled, that the battle is the LORD’s, and we may be quite sure of the victory, and […]
One of the most hotly debated points of doctrine (apart from the timing of the Rapture) among Christians of different denominations is the question of eternal security. Specifically, can a believer who was saved fall away and lose his salvation? Is there an unforgiveable sin for which a believer can be condemned? Those who would […]

Dr. Mike Murphy Sir Isaac Newton once said, “About the time of the end, in all probability, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation in the midst of much clamour and oppositions.” We watch today as men and women boldly proclaim what this world, and way too often this Church, do not wish to hear. An answer almost as unexpected as the twins she now carried. She had come to think she would never have a child. She had …

Reflections For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (II Tim. 4:3-4) If I have been deceived, there are REASONS – there are reasons why people believe error rather than the Truth. And it is a fact that those reasons are found in our own hearts. Only through knowing Jesus Christ and giving ourselves to Him can our heart be made pure, and can it be …
