Bringing You News From A Biblical Prospective
Once in awhile you will hear a Christian person talking about the need to, “forgive themselves.” But the fact is, there is not so much as a single verse in the Bible that even addresses the issue. The issue is not addressed because the entire dialog is a bunch of baloney. Indeed, this idea of forgiving oneself is nothing more than disguised self-righteousness. It is nothing more than disappointment with self because we didn’t measure up and prove we are righteous enough for God. We don’t need to forgive ourselves — we need to see the Truth about ourselves in …

If none of God’s saints were poor and tried, we should not know half so well the consolations of divine grace. When we find the wanderer who has not where to lay his head, who yet can say, “Still will I trust in the Lord;” when we see the pauper starving on bread and water, who still glories in Jesus; when we see the bereaved widow overwhelmed in affliction, and yet having faith in Christ, oh! what honour it reflects on the gospel. God’s grace is illustrated and magnified in the poverty and trials of believers. Saints bear up …
Read carefully Hebrews 2:17 – 2:18 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.. You would see a parrallel to John 17:19: And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. As we all know the name,ADAM means the father of the human …
Believing Scripture’s promises and praying them back to God can help us break free from anxiety. Isaiah 41:10 – 41:13 10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, [even] them that contended with …
Proverbs 12:13-22 (KJV) 13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. 14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him. 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. 16 A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. 17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. 18 There is that speaketh like …
First, some background. The word SANCTIFY means” To set apart for God’s use.” It really means to belong to God, which is why the word is often translated, “holy.” Likewise, the word SAINT comes from the same Greek word, “haggios,” and means, “holy ones, or ones set apart for God.” Indeed, even the term, “HOLY Spirit,” means, “the setting apart spirit.” From this we see that to be holy or sanctified, is by definition, what a saved person IS unto God — by definition we belong to God through Christ. But this must come to be more than just a …
