Putin’s Syrian strategy

11/07/2017 In March 2011, inflamed by the popular uprisings then spreading across the Middle East, 15 boys from a Syrian village scrawled on a wall some graffiti in support of the so-called Arab Spring.  They were arrested by Syrian security forces and brutally tortured.   One of them, 13-year-old Hamza al-Khateeb, was killed. Protests erupted across the country.  The response by President Bashar al-Assad’s security forces was to kill hundreds of demonstrators and imprison many more. Opposition to Assad hardened, and in July defectors within the military announced the formation of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), a rebel group dedicated to overthrowing …

Bend Until it Breaks

Pete Garcia And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not …

Adversity can be a burden we carry or a bridge to our transformation. How do you view it?

A Burden or a Bridge 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves; 8 we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair; 9 pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed; 10 always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may …

Revelation Message 52 The 75 Day Interval After the Tribulation

In this video Dr Woodhead discusses Scripture (Daniel 12:11-12) giving the duration of the interval. The first half of the Tribulation is 1,260 days (3 ½ years) which is the duration of the time between two significant events. They are the signing of the covenant with Israel by the Antichrist initiating the Great Tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation which is the mid point event. Scripture also tells us that the last half of the Tribulation will be 1,260 days counting from the Abomination of Desolation to the demise of the Antichrist. This is a total of seven years. The …

“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands.” Isaiah 49:16

No doubt a part of the wonder which is concentrated in the word “Behold,” is excited by the unbelieving lamentation of the preceding sentence. Zion said, “The Lord hath forsaken me, and my God hath forgotten me.” How amazed the divine mind seems to be at this wicked unbelief! What can be more astounding than the unfounded doubts and fears of God’s favoured people? The Lord’s loving word of rebuke should make us blush; he cries, “How can I have forgotten thee, when I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands? How darest thou doubt my constant remembrance, …

Vice Gripped, But Not Squeezed Of Hope!

Dr. Mike Murphy “Vice is a monster of so frightful mien, As to be hated needs but to be seen; Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face, We first endure, then pity, then embrace.” Through the years, I have often used this quote from An Essay On Man by Alexander Pope. In thirty-two words, he describes with definition what it would take most of us pages to define. Pope speaks of the wickedness we see around us, and how obvious it is to see that wickedness. He goes on to speak of how man deals with that wickedness. How …

Job 42:1-11 42 Then Job answered the Lord, and said, 2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. 4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. 6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust …

Crossing the Jordan

Reflections Behold, the ark of the covenant of the LORD of all the earth passes over before you into Jordan….As soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap. (Josh 3:11,13) Israel came OUT of Egypt through a body of water. The parting of the Red Sea required a miracle. There was no other escape for …

60 Satan Is the Prince of the Air

Ephesians 2:2 & 6:12 Satan is described as the prince of the power of the air and existing in the heavenly places. He lives in the atmospheric heavens or in the air. He has permission to access two places, Heaven, and the earth. We see his Heavenly access in Job 1:6; 2:1. Here he is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12: 10). He also accuses the nation Israel (Zechariah 3:1). When Adam fell, Satan became the prince of the power of this world (John 12:31), the god of this age (II Corinthians 4:4) and the prince of the kingdom of …

The Trial

Jack Kinsella Mankind is a mystery to the angels. The Bible says that God has charged them with ministering to men on this earth in this life with the understanding that men will judge them in the world to come. One of the purposes for the creation of man, according to Scripture, was the instruction of angels. “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; WHICH THINGS THE …
